Firms hire associates to carry the work behind their matters — the reading, the research, the drafting that happens long before anyone stands up to address a court. We are that associate, available for as much or as little as you need.
Everything from Legal Research through to Regulatory Research is taken from verified legal practitioners only, and is not open to the public. Document Review & Formatting and Bulk Documents are open to everyone.
We do not publish turnaround times, because an honest one depends on the matter — how heavy the record is, how contentious the application, and how many days your deadline leaves. We agree your delivery date with you when we agree terms, before any money changes hands.
You give us the question. We come back with the answer, the authorities that carry it, and a straight word about the ones that cut the other way.
Every case we cite is read rather than lifted from a headnote. Where a decision has been distinguished, departed from or overruled, you hear it from us in the memorandum, not from the Bench.
The written side of a matter at first instance. Drafted from the file, the record and your instruction, then handed to you as an editable document you can settle in your own voice.
We draft to the rules of the court you are in. If your chambers keeps a template or a house style, send it to us once and we will follow it on every brief after that.
Appeal work is slow and exacting, and it is almost impossible to do properly between court dates. It is also the work that rewards an unhurried desk most, which is exactly what we are.
We read the record through, frame the grounds the record will actually carry, and build the brief around the issues that decide the appeal rather than every complaint about the judgment.
We do not compile records. Scan the record of proceedings and send it across, and we work from that.
Record the day’s proceedings and send us the file. We return a clean transcript, and where you want one, a short letter to your client in plain language saying what happened and what comes next.
It is the task most often left undone at the end of a long court day, and the one clients notice most when it is missing.
Where a transaction turns on what a regulator will accept, we research the framework, the filings and the practice behind them, and set it out in a note you can put in front of a client or a board.

Nobody went to law school to fix line spacing. Send the document in whatever state it is in and we send it back looking the way it should — one typeface throughout, spacing that behaves, numbering that holds, headings that line up.
You tell us the font, the size and the spacing you want, and we apply them consistently from the first page to the last. If you would rather we simply match your chambers’ existing style, send us one document you are happy with and we will take it from there.
It runs on software we built for our own drafting. It is a formatting tool, not an artificial intelligence: it does not read your document, rewrite it or send it anywhere. Your words are untouched. Only their appearance changes.

One template, one spreadsheet of names, and as many finished documents as you need — every one carrying the right name, title, date and figure. Nobody sits copying names into a template, so nobody pastes the wrong one.
They come back as individual PDFs, as one print-ready file, or sent out to each recipient by email. Your letterhead, signature and seal go on each one.

Per process, per case, or on a retainer. We quote against your scope before the work begins and do not bill past it without asking you first.
